I love my sister! Despite the ticky tacky fights we have on occasion...very rare. But this morning we both got up to go work out at 5:15, that's right you read it right I was up working out at 5:15. This year I am doing things I thought I would never do but its worth it. I am a believer!!! But working out with my sister is simply the best...we both made a pack to work out but by time the evening gets here or we get home from work & practice we just don't wanna do nothing! So we started early today. I am very proud of her & myself. This morning I did the work out on F3's blog...kicked my butt!!! I am sore just after running...but its one of those workouts that you know you actually did something. My legs were wobbly, what's funny is I was on the last run, level 7.5 running it for 1 minute...longest minute of my life so far... my legs were just running. I knew if I even tried to change my pace I would end up in the wall, cause the treadmill was actually doing the work, I had to keep up!!! hahaha
Looking forward to plan a girls trip at spring break...!!! Little motivation from the background...love the spring , especially summer time!!! love it when its hot and chilling by the pool...
until next time...MAMABOTOS!

Lady Cats
Gotta love those Lady Cats! Why cause, many of you were once one and if you weren't u wish you were?!!!! hahaha. Tonight we start district play at Muleshoe, whose is picked number one in our district. We have had a really good practice this week. Yesterday my JV had to pretend to be Muleshoe by running their offense, well they work so well we are going to use them against them today!
Also I am very proud of our girls, I don't think very many if any at all had to go and take semester tests to take. WE have some pretty smart girls. But I had several of my JV girls that did not have to take any at all. WELL, the cruel coach I am I did not want them to sleep in late, get on a bus and sleep some more. SOOO we had shoot around at the elementary this morning at 8:15, then they stayed and helped me with P.E. Classes playing dodgeball with the kids. The elementary kids loved it, especially when I explained to them they did not have to go to school.
Good luck Lady Cats...I know you can do it, your parents know you can do it...but BELEIVE in yourself that you know how to do it...WIN!!! Go for the gold, DISTRICT CHAMPS!!!!
So if your bored tonight take stroll over to Muleshoe and watch some good girls basketball games. Even when we play at home, come out and watch. We need the stands packed!!! Cause believe me when your kids old enough to play in the Bobcat Den, you will wonder why the stands are empty!!
I heard a saying that when the girls were playing its "supper time!" How wrong is that? I took offense to it. They would only show up to watch the boys. Well, the girls did go further than the boys many years and feel sorry for those who missed out watching good girls basketball by feedin' their faces...; ).
Go Lady Cats!!!

Just Because...
I just received an email from my husband saying how much he loved me...just because! Made my day...we tend to do things for others just because but often forget those that are closest to us....husbands, wives, children, parents, n-laws. See, Botos is away right now in Waco at a Baseball coaching clinic. He will be gone for three days. Miss ya babe!
So the kids and I were alone yesterday. So after practice, I went home and got the kids dressed and we went to visit my mom at the beauty shop. There, Cora wanted her nails to be painted, but Kim was working on someone...so afterwards we went to wash the car. What a trip!!! I decided to wash it with the sprayer instead of going through the drive-thru. So I vacuumed first. The kids were sitting on the pavement watching some calves over in a lot run and play. They got the biggest kick out of it!!! I did too...those calves looked like they were playing tag...run after each other and then the other one would turn and run away... Well, then I drove the car over to get washed. The kids were running around the car and as soon as the sprayer came on Jantz happened to be behind the car and of course all of the water was blowing that direction since I started at the front of the car (Excuse...me...but I am typing right in P.E. and a kid just jumped off the stage and farted!! OMG it stinks....) Jantz was screaming and hollering telling me to stop, Cora & I was laughing. So toward the end of washing the car they both wanted to hold the sprayer, knowing in the back of my head it would knock them down, w/my help I let them hold the sprayer...they giggled and said it was "heavy." What a teachable moment.

NEW YEAR '09
Well, I did something today that I thought I would never do (GET UP AND GO WORKOUT!) for two reasons: 1) don't want to let my husband know he is right (the day isn't over yet babe) 2) I HATE getting up early. I guess I don't hate it I dread it. Botos and I was talking about that yesterday in the kitchen, about getting up early. He is an early bird, me I am NOT a morning person! I don't speak for at least an hour, Botos talks in his sleep. But back to getting up early, I had to do it in High School for cross country running & in College! 5 years of getting up and running at 6 in the morning...everyday whether we were in season or not...but back then i was able to take a nap NOW I still put it on my "to do list" whether I get to or not but I see myself as a person that requires a LOT of sleep. The morning seems to be the only time to go and workout, no kids to haul around and its over with. I know I will feel better the rest of the day, I know all the good things but to me it all goes back to that extra 60 minutes of sleep, which I require a lot of. : ) Like this morning, I set my alarm for 5:40...it went off and so did Botos...I hit the snooze button for five for more minutes...before I could hit the snooze button, here comes Botos saying "u won't ever get up and go workout hitting the snooze button." See he talks in his sleep! Its amazing he can hear mine but not his...mmmm (love ya babe). I appreciate those kind words at 5:40 in the morning supporting me to go workout. So yes I laid in bed for another 5 minutes for 2 reasons: 1) just see if he would say anything else...; ) 2) I wake up laying down in bed...some might know what I am talking about....just let me lie there and wake up not bam get up and start walking....no way! Lets see how I do the rest of the year,,,, 360 more days...crap!
When I did get home, Cora was up drinking her chocolate milk watching TV...begging me to not go to work today. I didn't want to come either but since I had already worked out I was feeling good and had to seize the day! Well, she came in to the bathroom w/me to get ready, ok so she could put on make-up... yes she is 3 1/2 and already puts on make-up more than me... I love her though, so cute so EARLY!
Well, Folks I am out to seize the day, off to fill up the coke machine in the teacher lounge so I won't have the entire CES staff upset cause they can't get their caffeine fix on this fine Monday morning...which, me, I have had no caffeine this year! I did that when I was pregnant, had no caffeine for 3 years (cokes, dr.p).
I hope you cause have a great day and feel as energized as I do...I think I could type another page if I wanted to....until next time....Mamabotos.

Wii
I don't know how many of you have a Wii. Well, it all started over the Thanksgiving break, we took ours over to my parents to by time while the meal was being prepared. IF you know me I was not in the kitchen... but since then my parents & my brother both have purchased the Wii!!! But the one game that we are practicing is Bowling... but we have also purchased two new games. The two new games are: Winter Olympics & Mario Olympics Track & Field. Lori came over taught us the swimming..OMG!!! i was breathing hard and my arms are so stinkin sore!!! You actually do all the swims...butterfly, breaststroke, crawl (sounds silly but its literally the crawl for my person) Gotta come check it out...
So, if you get bored over the holidays and tired of your family, come on over and play the Wii with We the Botos' or to my Parents....our doors all always open!
Have a good day...Until next time...Mamabotos

The Weekender
Well, won one and lost two games at our tournament this weekend. Pretty disappointed. The lack of effort and attitudes, sat one girl out for two quarters to finally let her play. She did well in the fourth quarter.
Also had my little girl Cora Lee ride the bus to all the three games, three days n a row. She was really good and loved sitting with the girls and listening to stories and watching movies. The best thing for me was I was squatting down on the sideline and yelled "blockout!" and heard this sweet innocent voice repeating what I just said. I looked and there was Cora Lee right beside me squatting down just like me. One hand under her chin and one on her knee...I just smiled real big! She smiled back with a giggle. Great day!
Spent the rest of the weekend with family. My dad is an awesome cook..he cooked supper for us on Sat. & Sunday. Delicious....tacos, enchiladas one night and roast, potatoes, carrots, w/beans & cornbread on Sunday!
Things I am looking forward to this week, the early releases but on Wednesday our family along w/my parents, aaron & kennedy, BB, Vicki, Josh & Christina & Baby Luke will all be experiencing the Polar Express train ride in Lubbock. It will be cold but well worth the trip. All the kids at school this week will be having x-mas parties...remember the good ol' days.
Have a great day! Until next time...Mamabotos.
