Today was a well deserved relaxing day. Woke up...went w/Botos to Wellington to get a spreader so he can get his field ready for baseball season, which practice starts this coming FRIDAY!!!! I don't know who is more ready him or me...
This morning was very cold!!! like freezing cold. Made it back from Wellington and came home. Decided we wanted to "Wall-E", so I go to my parents to borrow it. Got it, started it and fell asleep. Cora was in Botos' arms, Jantz & I were on the couch. Even though it was for an hour, I slept hard for that hour. Then I got up and had to go open the gym for a little dribblers team, went and got my sister, whom I haven't seen all week since I was sick. So went to Alltell b/c my phone won't stayed charged, to them the piece inside is bent...great!!!! Came home got the kiddos and went back to the gym to lock it up. On the way home we stayed at Taylor's and got few things we didn't need but went ahead and got them. Came home, ate & drank, then we had supper. Out of the blue I decided "lets go play putt-putt!" Look on Botos' face clearly explained he didn't want to but the good sport he is we did. A good twelve bucks in twelve minutes. Neat place, Coop's Den. Really impressed... now we are home.
I have been cooped up all week being sick and today I feel like I need to get OUT!!! As you can read I have attempted to get out, but didn't stay out for long....u ever feel this way? U want to go and do something and everyone wants to do nothing.
So.... we will see how Sunday goes. Have a good weekend....Mamabotos.

JINXIN'
WELL, Ever since my last blog I have been sick as a dog!!! It hit me in the middle of my game Tuesday night. When I got home, it wasn't 10 minutes and I was in bed w/chills, sore throat, shivering and could not get warm!!! So I went to the Doctor on Wed. & sure enough I have Strep w/ flue symptons.... great! My body hurt & ache all over. Sure enough I have not left this house since Wed. Cabin fever you might say? So today is Friday and I am missing the games tonight!!!! Luckily I can watch'em on the internet and text Coach Perkins or Coach K anything I might see. hahaha technology, you gotta love it!
The kids did make it to the baseball field this afternoon and came back showing me how to do the "Stinky Leg" dance...taught to them by Creede Breeding...a white boy. So cute!!! Now Cora is running in and out of the house w/her Superman Pink Cape and leggings on, carrying her pink water pail watering weeds in the yard. Jantz is running around outside riding his tricycle or bike to him.
Everyone have a great weekend and to Charla...I am sorry about not having you on the sideline but I just learned how to add others on there. Yours was the first one and I don't know what happened. You are on now sista...!!! Answer to your ipod list, check out last month or two months ago Fitness magazine, they had a list of the top songs to workout to!!! It was an answer to my prayers to get me going. More than Welcome to join Lori & I in the Mornings at 5:15!!!
Until next time...mamabotos

Monuesday?
Well, I can't decide if today is Monday or Tuesday? I know for a fact its not Monday but feels like it and I know that if today is Tuesday then tomorrow is Wednesday which means the week is half way over... oh well.
Had a good weekend, did absolutely nothing on Saturday...slept most of the day and then headed on down to Estelline to visit my grandparents. Great time...I heard stories about my granny & grandad, which was awesome cause they were both laughing and taking turns telling the story. How awesome! Even though my grandmother is bling but I bet you she can vividly remember that exact moment in her life like it was yesterday. Had me and my Uncle Kenny rolling.
Botos is doing great!!! He is so ready for baseball to start...I am too! I love watching him coach baseball...especially that they have to wear the uniform...mmmmmhhh better shut-up!!! hahaha As you may know or if you don't know, he has having those boys do some maintence work to the baseball field (painting the blencher, put windscreens, pull weeds, build fences, etc). The greenest grass in Childress County will be the Baseball Field!!! He takes great care of his fields; look good u play good...but what many people probably don't know is that Baseball coaches do have to take care of their field...its kind of sad that they have to do that. Think about...football coaches has the school maintence to mow the grass and water; yes they do paint the lines...basketball coaches has janitors to mop & sweep teh floor...even set out the chairs and score tables....I don't know where I was going with all of that other than Baseball Coaches just might have a "one-up" on us other coaches. Maintaining their own field, paint their own, drag & rake, AND endure the weather (rain, sleet, freezing arse cold, wind blowing 40 mph...) Man babe, I have a lot of respect for you having to endure that and having to endure me!! ; ) I wish you the best this season, I know you will do great things cause your love for the kids and the game is undeniable. Good Luck!!!
Sickness...OMG can you believe all the sicknesses going around! Just took my little man to the Dr. and he has Scarlet fever & strep throat!!! But the thing is he is running around fine, playing, eating. Weird! But just keep in mind of those that are sick. I know its tough when anyone in the family gets sick cause then everyone is like...'Great, now I am going to get it." Then we get mad at whoever was sick to come by and let us know they are sick...we are like.."don't come around here if your sick!" ahhahaha all the drama starts.
Everyone take care of yourself and those around you. Have a great Monuesday!!!

Finally Friday!!! I worked out 4 of the last 5 days, got up early 3 morning this week. I feel good and can kinda feel like I am losing weight but the scale doesn't show that I am...which I know it will take about 2-3 weeks for that to actually happen. The key is to stay working out.
I am writing this watching 2nd graders play dodgeball and Brittany Spears is on singing "hit me baby one more time!" how appropriate. hahaha... love my job. These kids do and say the darnest things. Even the high school kids act like little kids, but I thing we tend treat them like adults and they aren't yet. For example, yesterday in practice the girls were doing a drill that consist of them playing 2-on-1 situation. Well, this one time Carli cope is supposed to be playing defense but Savanana keys was dribbling the ball, just as soon as she passes the ball Carli comes up from behind her and "pants her" pulls her shorts down!!! Of course I see her thinking that little turd!!! Here we are trying to have a good practice and she's got jokes...so I told her to start running, she immediately takes off knowing what she did was inappropriate...
I couldn't help but laugh and of course some of the girls saw it and wanted to laugh but after I got onto her none of them evened smiled!!! ; ) then of course didn't see it happen either....still had a good practice. If you know Carli Cope that is just her norm...being goofy.
Wednesday night after church, we were all in the living room watching "American Idol." Well, Jantz was asleep in Botos' arms and of course Cora & I were being silly playing around on the other couch. Well, I thought come to me (I know it doesn't happen to often), but to teach Cora how to pinch her nose and suck in and hold (the nostrils stick together, sorta)!!! hahaha It was so funny cause the first time she did it, her little nostri, just one, got stuck and she had to literallyput her little pinky inside her nose to get it unstuck!!! OMG...it was the most hilarious thing...of course I was the onlyto see it. So when we showed Botos it didn't happen as good as the first time. Now when she sees me to starts giggling and tries to pinch my nose together...hahhaa... life is great.
What are some of those other little things that as kids you learned? Now as adults we tend to forget about until we actually see our own kids doing them and we say, "OMG I remember doing that!"
One more incident...we ate supper last night at my parents. Well, after we ate Botos & I went grocery shopping. So we left the kids to play at my parents house. I go back to pick them up and the funniest sight I have ever seen. In the play-room/Aaron's room there is a huge closet, big enough to put a small kids card table in there w/4 chairs. Aaron is teaching Jantz & Cora how to play dominoes!!! Dad & I just sat there and watched them for 2 minutes... It was so cute...they don't know to match the correct number but this little domino set has each number with their own color, so they were matching color to color. I wish I had my camera!!! But then here comes Kennedy (always one kid) to come and messed the game up by throwing the dominoes off the table, boy those other 3 were mad. PIcture a 6 year old teaching a 3 & a 3 year old to play dominoes!!!
Until next time....Mamabotos!

New Blog
I have created two new blogs. 1) The lady Cats & 2) CES P.E. I have not update the PE in awhile but I will be so that parents can know what we are doing in pe plus other information such as Little Dribblers & Little Spikers programs.
The Lady Cats defeated Dimmitt last night, what a great win!!! Very proud of'em. be sure to check those two new ones out.
AS for me & my family. I slept in this morning, did not go and work out but I will go this evening. I came home right after the game and ate, thanks to my mother-n-law for the supper...roast & potatoes, carrots.. mmmmhhhh. After I ate, took my bath and went to bed!!!! I kid you not I was out by 9:30!!! I was tired...
The kids are doing good....running around the gym w/no shoes on...; ( But its awesome to hear them hollar "mommy" or "Coach Botos" (cora calls me that ) from the sideline...brings a huge smile on my face and brings me back to reality.
Good news!!! My brother's little boy just recently got his cast off and they are going to have another bundle of joy arrive in July!!! Baby #2 is on the way....proud of ya Josh...love ya.

Sisters
I love my sister! Despite the ticky tacky fights we have on occasion...very rare. But this morning we both got up to go work out at 5:15, that's right you read it right I was up working out at 5:15. This year I am doing things I thought I would never do but its worth it. I am a believer!!! But working out with my sister is simply the best...we both made a pack to work out but by time the evening gets here or we get home from work & practice we just don't wanna do nothing! So we started early today. I am very proud of her & myself. This morning I did the work out on F3's blog...kicked my butt!!! I am sore just after running...but its one of those workouts that you know you actually did something. My legs were wobbly, what's funny is I was on the last run, level 7.5 running it for 1 minute...longest minute of my life so far... my legs were just running. I knew if I even tried to change my pace I would end up in the wall, cause the treadmill was actually doing the work, I had to keep up!!! hahaha
Looking forward to plan a girls trip at spring break...!!! Little motivation from the background...love the spring , especially summer time!!! love it when its hot and chilling by the pool...
until next time...MAMABOTOS!

Lady Cats
Gotta love those Lady Cats! Why cause, many of you were once one and if you weren't u wish you were?!!!! hahaha. Tonight we start district play at Muleshoe, whose is picked number one in our district. We have had a really good practice this week. Yesterday my JV had to pretend to be Muleshoe by running their offense, well they work so well we are going to use them against them today!
Also I am very proud of our girls, I don't think very many if any at all had to go and take semester tests to take. WE have some pretty smart girls. But I had several of my JV girls that did not have to take any at all. WELL, the cruel coach I am I did not want them to sleep in late, get on a bus and sleep some more. SOOO we had shoot around at the elementary this morning at 8:15, then they stayed and helped me with P.E. Classes playing dodgeball with the kids. The elementary kids loved it, especially when I explained to them they did not have to go to school.
Good luck Lady Cats...I know you can do it, your parents know you can do it...but BELEIVE in yourself that you know how to do it...WIN!!! Go for the gold, DISTRICT CHAMPS!!!!
So if your bored tonight take stroll over to Muleshoe and watch some good girls basketball games. Even when we play at home, come out and watch. We need the stands packed!!! Cause believe me when your kids old enough to play in the Bobcat Den, you will wonder why the stands are empty!!
I heard a saying that when the girls were playing its "supper time!" How wrong is that? I took offense to it. They would only show up to watch the boys. Well, the girls did go further than the boys many years and feel sorry for those who missed out watching good girls basketball by feedin' their faces...; ).
Go Lady Cats!!!
