Monday Monday

Boy, I was glad to go back to school! I know some of you weren't but I was. If you remember or not, its your choice... but I was out for 2 weeks of the 3 weeks of school in December... on my death bed... or that is what it felt like.

Those kids make my day... cause there is always going to be one glad to see me or give me the best hugs ever!!! I was so excited to hear what they all got for Christmas. A very exciting day. Plus the kids learned a new game in P.E. I love playing new games, Gaylor always just looks at me like... Where did you come up w/this game? lol.

After work at Elementary I headed over to the High School... glad to see my girls!!! I love to teach them about the game of basketball!!! Man did you see some of the NCAA Women's basketball scores? Well here let me give you a few of them:

14 Oklahoma 75
4 Tennessee 95

Texas over Pine Bluff 114 - 53

Okls St 84
Texas Pan America 31

North Carolina 101
Winston- Salem 38

UConn 91
Seton Hall 24

Unbelievable Scores!! That is one thing I made on my bucket list (yes I made a bucket list while my stay in the hospital) was to attend more Women's basketball games, BIG games!! Women's final four (hint* will be held in San Anotonio this year... great birthday gift babe!!)

Made it home from a great practice & saw my two knuckle head kiddos! Boy have I missed them today... they have been around me 24-7 and this morning was tough, but they did good. While getting supper started, I find Cora a game on the computer... then she lost interest and went to helping me cook supper. Pictures... I forgot I had pictures at Wal-Mart... so the kids & I go pick them up.

Well I look up and Jantz is gone! not really, I knew exactly where is was... yep... in the toy section standing in front of the 'Thomas the Trains"; just staring up at them w/his arms crossed, thinking hard! So Cora & I sneak up on him and scare him; well he gets mad, real mad!!! lol... Cora & I are just laugh!!! We head to the front to leave... Cora has on her Cowboy boots & the Wal-Mart floor is slick... she figures out that she can run & slide... well Jantz starts running & doing baseball slides!!! I just keep walking, fast, faster!

Crazy Kids!!! Love'm...

So we make it home, Daddy Botos has the supper finished and on display sitting nice & pretty on the kitchen table... that was the best Cheese Quesadilla Hamburger Helper I've eaten in a long time. My mom & Aaron came over; so we fed Aaron... then we got to listening to Aaron tell Botos that a machine gun won't kill the squirrel, but maybe his B.B. gun... lol... then Aaron got to talking about how the one time he went w/Botos hunting and when Botos or Pappy shot the gun all Aaron heard was "rrriiiinnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggg'nnnnnn" in his ear... lol Love listening to kids talk...ya know, we tend to tell them to be quiet cause we are trying to talk... but give them their time to talk, u might be amazed at what they have to say.

The night ended w/WWF on the bed!!! those kids get to giggling, laughing... so hard... it just makes you laugh.... then we settled down, gave them their Chocolate Milk, said our Good-night, gave a hug & kiss. Sweet dreams!!!

Great day, Great life!!!!

Until next time ... Mamabotos

Jan 1st

I spent the first day of this year out w/Botos in a deer blind. Woke up at 7, in the blind by 7:20-10:30. Came to town to eat lunch, hoping the that the deer were bedding. The kids love their Mammy & Pappy. I am so thankful for having them around. Here lately the kids (Aaron & Kennedy, plus my two) have enjoyed each others company. Four is a great number kids... there were four of us and we always had a blast & someone to play with. So... should I have two more kids???? ummmm.... we shall see what the new year brings!!!

So... Botos & I headed back to the blind. This time I took my ipod & my phone to play Solitare... man times flies.... looking up every few 30 secs... before I knew it it was 4:45 and the feeder was about to go off. Still no sight of a deer, coyote, nothing. then we see 3 does... about ummm, lets just say too too far for me to shoot... at least Botos' thought so... Me, I was READY! Lol No luck. Getting ready for next season.

Now let me tell ya ladies... I wasn't big into hunting until recently. Botos kept asking me if I wanted to go and of course I didn't. But whle being the hospital, I had time to think... lots of time. So, after getting welll, he asked and I said YES. He was fired up... the look on his face was priceless. He is a great teacher (no wonder all the kids like him). I learned more about deer in the 20 min drive to Estelline than I have my entire life!! but then I had to learn patience, how to be quiet, & to whisper, plus how to be STILL!! You can't even fart... cause one-it might make a sound or not, but 2-the smell is gonna make you gag or make you move to cover your nose!!! lol.
I have had a wonderful time hanging out w/my husband and enjoying what he likes to do. I always that I need to a girlfriend that I go and hang out with... forget that!!! All I need is Botos. We have had some great times together here lately which we both needed before his season gets busy. BUT here is a plus to all this... our kids enjoy it too. They Both have been w/Botos & shot their deers... me... no luck. I have the kids support which is awesome... Jantz has even giving me his play gun to go and shoot that buck with... hahaha.

When we got back into town, we headed over to my parents where our New Year's meal was ready: Cabbage (& fried---delicious); bacon; black-eyed peas; ham; corn bread & Bread Pudding!! MYmom made it for the first time last night and it was delicious!!! Way to go Mom. I love my parents and so very thankful to have such great parents.

WE are heading back to their house today to spend a late Christmas w/the Moore side. Also, something is up my Aunt's sleeve's??? I don't know what it is but it will be the first time we have all been together since the passing of Granny. (snif snif) All I know is they have something from Granny to give to all grand-daughters & great-grand-daughters.

Plus I have a surprise myself for my aunts!!! That they must play the Wii---JUST DANCE!!!- so look forward to new videos.... hahaha.

Monday

Well, I started my 1/2 day today. I only go in the afternoon & let me say I felt like a stranger... lol. Not having seen people in 2 weeks, seemed a lot longer than that. But it was nice to see those little elementary kiddos was awesome, all in shock... asking if I was ok... sharing hugs, all of them smiling.... it made my day.

the second best part of my day was when I was walking into the gym... or seeing the Lady Cats come into the gym. All running (some) over and walking and excited voices to shout that they were glad to see me! lol.... these are an awesome group of girls and they care... yes they have a heart... lol. It was nice to see them and be back around these young ladies.

3rd part of my best day... coming home to my kiddos... Jantz has this thing now he has to come out, open your car door for you. So no telling how long you are going to have to sit in the car, but he will come. Ohh Cora Lee.... she is getting so tall and pretty, & smart. She loves school!!! She is always teaching Jantz what she learned at school. Sometimes is cooperative and most of the time he isn't. lol.

4th best part of my day... spending some time w/ Botos. Its amazing how much we both needed it. Just to talk and hug.... loved it.

Okay, now I am watching my new show "The Sing-Off", loving loving loving it. I wish everyone a great day. Stay Warm!!!!

Until next time... Mamabotos
