PIG SKIN SUNDAY

Ok, such a lazy day! Didn't even get out of the house!!! ugh, yes I missed church (sorry Trey) but when I miss I get a double dose of Trey. See while I am getting ready for church, Trey is on K96 from 9-9:30...so i get to hear last weeks sermon and then go and listen to Trey live!!! (in person)

So we watch the game, sad the Colts lost!!! Botos being from Indiana and all & plus they were blue & white. Your thinking why does the colors matter? Well they do to me. See I went to High School (here duh) colors: blue & white. College: blue, white ... 3rd color gold. First coaching job, Georgetown, Tx: Blue & white. Came back to Childress: blue & white. Next school... Bandera TX: blue & white!!! Hell... I mean Hart TX: maroon & white (didn't work out...) Now back in Childress: Blue & white. So ALL my clothes... literally are blue & white... Okay enough Blue & White.

Well the kids got bored... after their baths they are running around in their pull-ups, literally running around!!!

Cora finds a straw and a lid from a Taylor's cup. conversation:

Cora: Hey Jantz, get on all fours and let me show you like a pig?
Jantz: Ok!

So Cora starts tapping Jantz on his back, trying to get him to crawl around on the floor. She puts the lid inside her pull-up in the back; like the kids did at the Show barn w/their brushes... !!! So she starts tapping him, Jantz grunts and begins to root his nose into the dirt and she taps him and yells NO! lol. Then Cora reaches in the back of her pull-up, pulls out the lid (brush) and begins to clean the pig (Jantz). And then they trade places... hahaha Yes I laughed so hard but not as near as hard as the kids were laughing doing this!!! So students, young adults, ANYONE... their are always "Little Eyes Watching You!" Your actions & sayings do NOT go unnoticed. Little Eyes See & Hear every word spoken and every action acted. Don't forget that little eyes are watching you .

Poem: Little eyes upon us

There are little eyes upon us,
Watching you play baseball today.
There are little ears that quickly,
Take in every word you say.
There are little hands, all eager
To do anything you do,
And a little boy/girl who's dreaming
Of the day he'll/she'll be like you.
You're the little one's idol,
You're the wisest of the wise.
In their little mind about you
No suspicions ever rise.
They believe in you devoutly,
Holds all you say and do;
They will say and do, in your way
When they grow up to be just like you.
You are setting an example
Every day in all you do;
For the little child who's waiting
To grow up to be like you.

That is an awesome poem.... and the kids were great showing themselves like pigs, but not sorry to say they will not be in FFA or 4-H. Nothing against those organizations, conflict of seasons and just not for the Botos clan
