Rules from God
1. Wake Up !! Decide to have a good day.
"Today is the day the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it" Psalms 118:24
2. Dress Up !! The best way to dress up is to put on a smile. A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks. "The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at outward appearance; but the Lord looks at the heart."
I Samuel 16:7
3 Shut Up!! Say nice things and learn to listen. God gave us two ears and one mouth, so He must have meant for us to do twice as much listening as talking. "He who guards his lips guards his soul." Proverbs 13:3
4. Stand Up!!... For what you believe in. Stand for something or you will fall for anything.. "Let us not be weary in doing good; for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good..." Galatians 6:9-10
5. Look Up !!... To the Lord.
"I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me."
Philippians 4:13
6. Reach Up !!... For something higher. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, And He will direct your path."
Proverbs 3:5-6
7. Lift Up !!... Your Prayers.
"Do not worry about anything;
Instead PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING."
Philippians 4:6
*** Man I needed this. So much going through this tiny brain of mine...lol. I think I will blow this up and put it in a frame.
Until Next time... Mamabotos

Kids 1st report card
ok so I get my kids report cards from Ms. Angie's, read them late last night when I got in from our ball game... but ended my day with a huge smile!
Cora's:
NO N's (needs further time to develop)
All A's & A+'s
Comments:
Knows Shapes, Colors (perfect)
Count to 13 (cause she was tired of counting, lol)
Her favorite activities: Active (imagine that) & Quiet & Group.
Always happy and eager to learn. Wonderful friend to her classmate and a great help to the teacher.
Way to go Cora! Very proud of her, can't believe she will start Kindergarten in AUGUST!!
Jantz's Report Card: (u ready for this?)
Very phsyically Developed; besides skipping (lol)
Social & Emotional Development (here we go!)
Willing to share- N (needs improvement)
Take part in group activites (if he's in the mood! (lol)=N
Practice self control=N
Meet new situations w/confidence=N (still a little shy...)
Name: "Jantzer" not Jantz (lol)
Perfect on Colors
Very Active & INDEPENDENT!
Lets just say "Early" morning is hard for some kids, Jantz is one of those kids, not a morning person! like his momma!!!
Received an email today how "why boys need parents", well here is just one picture that explains our boy right now...
Counted higher than sister! (ummm... Cora!)

When all is said & done, I am very thankful my kids can attend such wonderful "pre-school." I didn't have that has a kids and now a days, kids are getting smarter & learning so much so soon at a young age.
I am very proud of my two kids and thought I would share how different is to rais a girl & a boy. I love you kiddos!!!
Until next time... Mamabotos

What a great day...
Woke up & had a BIG breakfast, didn't make it to Sunday School but we (family) made it to church. Man I love listening to Trey. He makes you feel guilty but at the same time he can make you feel GREAT! he brings things into perspective and lays it on the line. Jantz loves to try to sing w/every song that we sing. he is so funny, he gets his voice real high and soft... sweetest voice. But as for Cora, who likes to dance, well she was dancing around a pole... I know this sounds funny but if you have ever been up stairs, balcony, there are two poles that I assume are for support but Cora finds it fun to swing around and likes to act out a dance to church songs. Lord help us!!! So we may have to stay away from the balcony for awhile... lol. A HUGE thank you for Melissa Vannoy... she is so sweet and awesome... her boys & her always get a good laugh at my kids, she sent one of her boys down to get colors and a coloring page for the kids. I have got to get my act together as far as stuff for my kids to have something to do.
After Church we had lunch w/my parents... the good ol' Sunday Lunch... chicken strips, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn & Sweet Tea!! It was awesome. And it was for supper too... lol.
So after lunch, the kids went w/Pappy to make deliveries (ridin' the big Propane Truck)... gosh I have so many memories of riding in that thing. I went home, straight to the bed... covered up, put on Woman's basketball (Rice & Tulane) & right before I could doze off, here comes the kiddos. Which both have been feeling a little puny. So they crawled into bed w/me & their Chocolate Milk... of course we had to put on CARS. KA-CHOW!! lol Before I knew it we three were out... love naps w/the kids.
Woke up, had a text from Botos that he & his brother Justin shot 2 hogs. Justin's first trip out to the deer stand and the land. Good quality time w/each other... Brothers! Got the kitchen cleaned up to get it ready for Botos to cook his deer steaks... weren't bad... but I saw red and couldn't eat much of it. At the table Nanna shared w/us that Cora is learning our street address. She did pretty darn good... its amaizng how fast they learn & what they remember!!! Can't believe she will start kindergarten next in 7 1/2 months!!!! ugh...
The night ended great, read both kids a story out of the Cora's kid bible. Both of them repeated the Lord's prayer. Read it to them both while they were in their OWN beds... let see if they stay in it... well right now, we three are all in Cora's room, watching Beauty & the Beast... the beast may be coming out of me soon.... Lord be w/me! lol

1/2 way thru this week
Our day was awesome! The kids slept in. With Tuesday being VERY tiring day... both kids had school... both woke up in great moods... got dressed & had their chocolate milk. Everything is good in the household when those kids have their Chocolate Milk!!!
So we gave Hugs & Kisses and out the door I went. Had a great day at school but I was very tired... very hard for me to be enthusiatic about the day. But I did, how? Our Lady Cats start District this FRIDAY NIGHT... pack the gym folks!!! So I got to thinking about a acronym that could help us get through the rest of the season.... so I am decorating the locker room. Us coaches were talking before Tuesday games & counted that their are only 16 games till STATE!!! Yes, basketball is a very long season but when you are starting to count down its all worth it... oooh gives me chills. So I found pictures of the DRUM (Frank Erwin Center) where Girls Basketball State Tournament is at (UT). Put up pictures of the drum & inside of the drum to get the image in their minds to start thinking STATE Bound....

So I got half of the decorations up & plan on finishing today. Lets see.
So yesterday,Wed., get home & we have a pool table/air hockey in one table (you can flip over to play one of those two games.) Anyways, we moved into our play-room/dining room. BIG Mistake... cause I can't stop playing Air Hockey!!! I let Jantz beat me... you should have seen his face... he just kept saying, "I'm Good, Mommy... I'm Good." ; ) little toot... then Cora wants to challenge me, well... lets just say we didn't finish the game. lol. all the time we were playing... Botos cooked Deer Chili.... boy it was AWESOME!! Very good... guess what we are having today!!! U guessed it... yummy yummy! So the night ended w/Cora & I sleeping in her bedroom and the boys in our bedroom. But right before we went to bed... Cora gets on this story telling kick.... She talks about this girl name "Dangily (Dan-gul-ey) ??? She actually changes our voices as she is portraying two different people talking... talking on & on & on & on & On... I"m just looking at like... "What are you talking about?" Of course I get, "Danguley!"....lol... Finally we crawl into bed & she says," I love you mommy" kisses my nose and she was out!!! God I love that girl.

Monday Monday
Boy, I was glad to go back to school! I know some of you weren't but I was. If you remember or not, its your choice... but I was out for 2 weeks of the 3 weeks of school in December... on my death bed... or that is what it felt like.
Those kids make my day... cause there is always going to be one glad to see me or give me the best hugs ever!!! I was so excited to hear what they all got for Christmas. A very exciting day. Plus the kids learned a new game in P.E. I love playing new games, Gaylor always just looks at me like... Where did you come up w/this game? lol.
After work at Elementary I headed over to the High School... glad to see my girls!!! I love to teach them about the game of basketball!!! Man did you see some of the NCAA Women's basketball scores? Well here let me give you a few of them:
14 Oklahoma 75
4 Tennessee 95
Texas over Pine Bluff 114 - 53
Okls St 84
Texas Pan America 31
North Carolina 101
Winston- Salem 38
UConn 91
Seton Hall 24
Unbelievable Scores!! That is one thing I made on my bucket list (yes I made a bucket list while my stay in the hospital) was to attend more Women's basketball games, BIG games!! Women's final four (hint* will be held in San Anotonio this year... great birthday gift babe!!)
Made it home from a great practice & saw my two knuckle head kiddos! Boy have I missed them today... they have been around me 24-7 and this morning was tough, but they did good. While getting supper started, I find Cora a game on the computer... then she lost interest and went to helping me cook supper. Pictures... I forgot I had pictures at Wal-Mart... so the kids & I go pick them up.
Well I look up and Jantz is gone! not really, I knew exactly where is was... yep... in the toy section standing in front of the 'Thomas the Trains"; just staring up at them w/his arms crossed, thinking hard! So Cora & I sneak up on him and scare him; well he gets mad, real mad!!! lol... Cora & I are just laugh!!! We head to the front to leave... Cora has on her Cowboy boots & the Wal-Mart floor is slick... she figures out that she can run & slide... well Jantz starts running & doing baseball slides!!! I just keep walking, fast, faster!
Crazy Kids!!! Love'm...
So we make it home, Daddy Botos has the supper finished and on display sitting nice & pretty on the kitchen table... that was the best Cheese Quesadilla Hamburger Helper I've eaten in a long time. My mom & Aaron came over; so we fed Aaron... then we got to listening to Aaron tell Botos that a machine gun won't kill the squirrel, but maybe his B.B. gun... lol... then Aaron got to talking about how the one time he went w/Botos hunting and when Botos or Pappy shot the gun all Aaron heard was "rrriiiinnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggg'nnnnnn" in his ear... lol Love listening to kids talk...ya know, we tend to tell them to be quiet cause we are trying to talk... but give them their time to talk, u might be amazed at what they have to say.
The night ended w/WWF on the bed!!! those kids get to giggling, laughing... so hard... it just makes you laugh.... then we settled down, gave them their Chocolate Milk, said our Good-night, gave a hug & kiss. Sweet dreams!!!
Great day, Great life!!!!

Jan 1st
I spent the first day of this year out w/Botos in a deer blind. Woke up at 7, in the blind by 7:20-10:30. Came to town to eat lunch, hoping the that the deer were bedding. The kids love their Mammy & Pappy. I am so thankful for having them around. Here lately the kids (Aaron & Kennedy, plus my two) have enjoyed each others company. Four is a great number kids... there were four of us and we always had a blast & someone to play with. So... should I have two more kids???? ummmm.... we shall see what the new year brings!!!
So... Botos & I headed back to the blind. This time I took my ipod & my phone to play Solitare... man times flies.... looking up every few 30 secs... before I knew it it was 4:45 and the feeder was about to go off. Still no sight of a deer, coyote, nothing. then we see 3 does... about ummm, lets just say too too far for me to shoot... at least Botos' thought so... Me, I was READY! Lol No luck. Getting ready for next season.
Now let me tell ya ladies... I wasn't big into hunting until recently. Botos kept asking me if I wanted to go and of course I didn't. But whle being the hospital, I had time to think... lots of time. So, after getting welll, he asked and I said YES. He was fired up... the look on his face was priceless. He is a great teacher (no wonder all the kids like him). I learned more about deer in the 20 min drive to Estelline than I have my entire life!! but then I had to learn patience, how to be quiet, & to whisper, plus how to be STILL!! You can't even fart... cause one-it might make a sound or not, but 2-the smell is gonna make you gag or make you move to cover your nose!!! lol.
I have had a wonderful time hanging out w/my husband and enjoying what he likes to do. I always that I need to a girlfriend that I go and hang out with... forget that!!! All I need is Botos. We have had some great times together here lately which we both needed before his season gets busy. BUT here is a plus to all this... our kids enjoy it too. They Both have been w/Botos & shot their deers... me... no luck. I have the kids support which is awesome... Jantz has even giving me his play gun to go and shoot that buck with... hahaha.
When we got back into town, we headed over to my parents where our New Year's meal was ready: Cabbage (& fried---delicious); bacon; black-eyed peas; ham; corn bread & Bread Pudding!! MYmom made it for the first time last night and it was delicious!!! Way to go Mom. I love my parents and so very thankful to have such great parents.
WE are heading back to their house today to spend a late Christmas w/the Moore side. Also, something is up my Aunt's sleeve's??? I don't know what it is but it will be the first time we have all been together since the passing of Granny. (snif snif) All I know is they have something from Granny to give to all grand-daughters & great-grand-daughters.
Plus I have a surprise myself for my aunts!!! That they must play the Wii---JUST DANCE!!!- so look forward to new videos.... hahaha.
Until next time... Mamabotos
