Seemed so long ago....(remember that song!?) It was actually on Monday when Botos received a call from Eric KP around 9. Come to find out that Botos was introduced to Fatboy Outdoor Hunting. His gig was to catch a baby pig (wild hog) to win $80 bucks...if you haven't seen the video go check it out at Fatboyoutdoor.blogspot.com Its so stinkin'hilarious!!! Those guys are crazy that do those videos...its cool to see grown men still trying to stay young...good group of guys. Funny but crazy!!!
I was able to go to the park yesterday and visit those poor little ducks on the pond in the park. The kids and I plus Aaron were sitting down enjoying our McNuggets and then BAM...we were swarmed by all the ducks in Childress county...of course the kids got excited so they fed the ducks their french fries...BUT poor Jantz couldn't get rid of his fries quick enough...the biggest goose/duck whatever it was, snapped his poor little hand, yes his entire hand in its mouth!!! Jantz had the craziest look on his face like, duck what are you thinkin? I think he might have slapped that poor duck if he didn't hurt him so bad...I was rolling, couldn't help but laugh...it was a great afternoon to spend w/the kids.
A shout out to Sarah, hope u can hear this ;) hahaha welcome to bloggin!!! I would like to also say "Amen!" on your feelings about coaching/kids. I feel like I don't know that I could do this the rest of my life but its the only thing I know to do. The best rule is K.I.S.S. (keep it simple stupid). But now working at the Elementary where we are WILD!!! I have learned that these kids that things are handing to them, really did have things handed to them. It all started when they were in the 1st & 2nd grade. I have had an issue lateley w/those two grades about wearing boots to P.E. of course they all got new boots for Christmas so I let them wear them the month of January but now I have had enough of boots and the stuff that tends to get stuck on the bottom of those boots....poop!! So come MOnday I wrote up about 8-10 behavior slips to those that wore boots...I know I am so mean...and it worked!!! I haven't seen or smelled another pair of boots since then...but I could be speaking to soon. Keep those fingers crossed....
Well, today is Thursday and I got up and went and worked out, yep I did. It was so hard but I feel better and have been up now for 3 hours, some of you might still be asleep or only been up for only 3 minutes...yep, you know who you are!!! I hope you all have a good day today cause I am going to make the most of the 24 hrs I have in this day and challenge you to do the same, yes Botos I know that means to clean up around the house, that should happen some where around the 15th or 16th hour today, but don't hold me to it, it SHOULD happen... ; ) laugh about it would ya!

No idea...
You ever wonder why people act the way they do or try to get away with things? I have no idea either. It amazes me how people take their jobs, some serious or just en0ugh to get by. I know we all take short cuts every now and then and there are days where u don't feel like working but you can't afford not to miss. Yesterday was my day of NOT wanting to come to work. I woke up looking forward to summer!!! Not a great way to start off the month of February...
I have some news I would like to share. I was fortunate to play college basketball at a very prestige university, Wayland Baptist: Flying Queens. Here is a little about their program:
Flying Queens Basketball - Women
17 NAIA National Tourney appearances
NAIA National Runner-up in '86, '92
1997 Final Four appearance
10 AAU national championships
Won more games (1,421) than any other women’s collegiate program
28 NAIA All-Americans
At that school the girls basketball program ran the school...we had our own mascot, team name (different than the other team sports: Pioneers), own planes to travel to our of town games, plus many more advantages. But I am not here to brag, the school opened in 1909, this year for the homecoming the University will be celebrating 100 years and as well as honoring the top 50 womens basketball team in the last 100 years and I am very very proud to say that our 98-99 team will be honored as one of the top 50 teams of Flying Queens Basketball program!!! You don't know how important this is to me...!! I can't wait for Feb. 21st!!! To see and meet all the other Flying Queens and you know what...Marsha Sharp was a Flying Queen Bee...that's right on the JV but then later on the Varsity...so that goes to show that not all great coaches were great players as well. I am soooo looking forward to that weekend, I have already been in contact w/one of my teammates Shaun Weaver, awesome point guard from Sudan TX (state championship team and MVP). You know to me I had to grow up, build a lot of character. But I was on a team full of the top Panhandle girls all combined on one team, how good were we....very good!!! hahah ;) I am looking forward to talk and reminise about the glory days w/girls I haven't seen in quit sometime.

Big Butts a Sign of Good Health! (check it out...)
I am here at work w/my lovely co-worker Gaylor and he just played "I like big butts!" and so now I have that song in my head and of course I started shaking my big butt and he just turned his head....hahahaa.BUT I also have a great experience w/another co-worker that involves "Big Butts!" That's what I was going to re-in-act for Gaylor but he stopped me and said no!!! ; )
What a funny picture! I found this and the actually slogans says "Lets look like Americans!" To me I'd rather have a butt than no butt...but I can't see my butt so I might want to thank twice about that.... laugh about it...

Ever notice those silly words or letters you have to type to confirm your comments? Well, FOLOP was mine just a minute ago and being the redneck that I am I came up with a sentence using "Folop." Here it goes:
Today after getting out of school early, I went home and 'folopped' on the couch and starting figuring out scrapblog title. OR Like when my boobs folop (fa-lop) around when I am not wearing a bra. Sorry about that ladies & gents. See Emily, things shouldn't be typed and other things should. Laugh aboutt it!
I am one of those change my background often, like once a week or twice a month. I have noticed that some of you have the same background and they are super cute....mine change with my mood I believe. I am ready for summer, but the flip-flop background was making my eyes go crazy. I don't know maybe we should have a contest or something of who can make the ugliest background w/a ugly title???? Something different, we could all laugh about it!
Comments? I like receiving comments, that is like the first thing I look for when I check my blog. Now about giving out those comment I have made a commitment to do better job at giving them. Also if I don't have you on my blog list, please please please leave me a comment and I will add ya. Its not that I don't like you or I have someone else and not you its just that I did those all in 1 day and never got back to adding others. So please, just let me know and I will add ya and then we will laugh about it!
Now do you ever wonder who your kids act like? members of the family? friends? I have come to the conclusion that Cora acts like Botos' grandmother Tilly. She was full of life and the life of the party wherever she went. She walks swinging her hips, batting her eyes, wearing make-up, playing dress-up, painting nails, fixing hair. Well, the picture below I hope also shows that she might follow in my mother's footsteps of doing hair! Take a look....:
If you look she is wearing 'Mammy's' glasses and combing her hair. Actually the honest truth is she asked Mammy "What is this?" Mom w/a puzzled look says,' I don't know what your talking about." Cora replies, "This white stuff?" Mom started laughing historically, knowing then she was talking about her gray hair!!!! Laugh about it!
Last but not least, my title on the top of my page says "LAUGH ABOUT IT". I think we need to all do a little more of this instead of criticizing, justifying why people do things or what makes them act the way they do. Its kinda like when your kids cut up a piece of paper into a million little pieces. At the same time, you're mad but proud they know how to cut. OR like Jantz slams Cora's head in the door...you feel bad but then you laugh about it! OR this one is good, or you see the assistant principal get hit in the head w/a dodgeball...knowing everyone's buttholes are tight (even Gaylor's & I), thinking OMG did that just really happen, but when she leaves we all laughed about it!!! Try a little more laughing in your day next time, you might be surprised how good you feel.

Another Saturday
Today was a well deserved relaxing day. Woke up...went w/Botos to Wellington to get a spreader so he can get his field ready for baseball season, which practice starts this coming FRIDAY!!!! I don't know who is more ready him or me...
This morning was very cold!!! like freezing cold. Made it back from Wellington and came home. Decided we wanted to "Wall-E", so I go to my parents to borrow it. Got it, started it and fell asleep. Cora was in Botos' arms, Jantz & I were on the couch. Even though it was for an hour, I slept hard for that hour. Then I got up and had to go open the gym for a little dribblers team, went and got my sister, whom I haven't seen all week since I was sick. So went to Alltell b/c my phone won't stayed charged, to them the piece inside is bent...great!!!! Came home got the kiddos and went back to the gym to lock it up. On the way home we stayed at Taylor's and got few things we didn't need but went ahead and got them. Came home, ate & drank, then we had supper. Out of the blue I decided "lets go play putt-putt!" Look on Botos' face clearly explained he didn't want to but the good sport he is we did. A good twelve bucks in twelve minutes. Neat place, Coop's Den. Really impressed... now we are home.
I have been cooped up all week being sick and today I feel like I need to get OUT!!! As you can read I have attempted to get out, but didn't stay out for long....u ever feel this way? U want to go and do something and everyone wants to do nothing.
So.... we will see how Sunday goes. Have a good weekend....Mamabotos.

JINXIN'
WELL, Ever since my last blog I have been sick as a dog!!! It hit me in the middle of my game Tuesday night. When I got home, it wasn't 10 minutes and I was in bed w/chills, sore throat, shivering and could not get warm!!! So I went to the Doctor on Wed. & sure enough I have Strep w/ flue symptons.... great! My body hurt & ache all over. Sure enough I have not left this house since Wed. Cabin fever you might say? So today is Friday and I am missing the games tonight!!!! Luckily I can watch'em on the internet and text Coach Perkins or Coach K anything I might see. hahaha technology, you gotta love it!
The kids did make it to the baseball field this afternoon and came back showing me how to do the "Stinky Leg" dance...taught to them by Creede Breeding...a white boy. So cute!!! Now Cora is running in and out of the house w/her Superman Pink Cape and leggings on, carrying her pink water pail watering weeds in the yard. Jantz is running around outside riding his tricycle or bike to him.
Everyone have a great weekend and to Charla...I am sorry about not having you on the sideline but I just learned how to add others on there. Yours was the first one and I don't know what happened. You are on now sista...!!! Answer to your ipod list, check out last month or two months ago Fitness magazine, they had a list of the top songs to workout to!!! It was an answer to my prayers to get me going. More than Welcome to join Lori & I in the Mornings at 5:15!!!
